The term "direct component" does apply to objects ([64:3]). The only quibble that data subgroup had with 16.5.2.5 when it and UTI 123 were studied during meeting 182 was the use of the term subcomponent. If subcomponent is correct, the revision is correct, and the UTI note can be deleted.
